Peanuts

Step 1

Roughly chop the peanuts.

Cilantro (fresh)

Step 2

Wash, then chop the cilantro.

Cumin seeds

Step 3

In a pan on high heat, add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil per person, (alternatively, you can use: sunflower oil, olive oil, etc.) the cumin seeds (or cumin powder) and the peanuts.

Step 4

Sauté for 2 min, stirring regularly, until the peanuts are golden brown.

Cucumber

Step 5

Wash and thinly slice the cucumber.

Red onion

Step 6

Cut the onions in half and then into thin slices.

In a bowl, mix the cucumber, onions, peanut-cumin mixture, lemon juice, salt & pepper.

Cilantro (fresh)

Step 8

Serve with chopped fresh cilantro. Enjoy! Optional: add a pinch of chili pepper.
