Utensils

Oven, Cake pan

recipe

Raw cane sugar
Almond flour
Flour (all-purpose)
Baking powder

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180°C. In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, powdered almonds, yeast (or bicarbonate) & a pinch of salt.

Banana

Step 2

In another bowl, mash the bananas (the riper they are, the better so don't be afraid to use black bananas!).

Egg
Butter (unsalted)

Step 3

Add the eggs and melted butter, mix and add it little by little to the first mixture.

Chocolate bar (baking)

Step 4

Add the chocolat chopped into dices, mix.

Step 5

Grease your loaf tin (we used a 29 x 10 cm dish here) & pour in the batter. Bake for 50 min at 180°C.

Step 6

Once the loaf is golden, plant the tip of a knife into the center of the loaf. If it comes out clean, the loaf is ready, otherwise, bake it for another 2-3 min. Leave to cool before serving. Enjoy !

You can personalize your Banana Bread by adding chopped almonds/hazelnuts in the mixture.
