Make sure you have...
Stovetop, Skewers, Pot (small), Colander, Frying pan
Step 1
Cook the wheat in a pan of salted water for 10 minutes. Strain once cooked.
Step 2
Cut the pepper into cubes.
Step 3
Cut the chicken into cubes.
Step 4
Quarter the onions and cut them into small pieces.
Step 5
Alternately slide the chicken pieces, onions and peppers onto the skewers.* *Check out our tips for this step
Step 6
Add a drizzle of olive oil to a frying pan and sauté the skewers for 2 minutes on all 4 sides on a medium heat.
Step 7
Then lower the heat, cover and cook for another 5 minutes.
Step 8
Serve the wheat with the skewers, season, add a dash of olive oil (optional: add some herbs).
If you're using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 min before grilling to prevent burning.
