Red onion

Step 1

Peel & finely slice the red onions Set a couple fo slices aside for garnishing.

Chicken breast

Step 2

Slice the chicken breast in half lengthwise & pound it using a rolling pin or the back of a wooden spoon to tenderise the meat.

Smoked Paprika

Step 3

Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a pan, over medium heat. Add the onions & half of the smoked paprika. Sauté for 3-4 min.

Step 4

Add the chicken. Season with salt, pepper & the remaining smoked paprika. Cook for 4-5 min on each side, until golden brown & cooked through.

Cherry tomatoes

Step 5

Meanwhile, rinse the cherry tomatoes & slice in halves.

Cucumber

Step 6

Wash & cut the cucumber into rounds.

Feta cheese (block)

Step 7

Drain & cut the feta into bite-sized cubes.

Pita bread

Step 8

Toast the pita breads in a toaster or a pan for a couple of min, until lightly golden. Halve the pita breads.

Step 9

Slice the grilled chicken & serve it alongside the cucumber, cherry tomatoes, feta & reserved onion slices. Season to taste & garnish your pita breads to your liking. Enjoy !
