Potato puffs (pommes dauphine)

Step 1

Cook the tater tots according to the instructions on the package.

Beef (ground-beef patties fresh)

Step 2

5 minutes before the tater tots are done, cook the beef patties in a pan on high heat (if necessary add a drizzle of oil) and cook for 2 minutes on each side. (or longer depending on how you like your meat cooked)

Step 3

Add salt and pepper to the beef when done cooking and remove the pan from the heat.

Step 4

Add a little bit of water while the pan is still hot to create a jus (about 2 spoonfuls per person). If desired, add a dab of butter for a richer sauce!

Once the tater tots are nice and golden, remove from the oven and serve with the burgers and jus. Enjoy!
