Step 1

Cook the pommes noisettes according to package instructions.

Beef (ground-beef patties fresh)

Step 2

5 minutes before the pommes noisettes are done, cook the ground beef patty in a pan over high heat (no need to add oil) for 2 minutes on each side, or to your preferred doneness.

Step 3

Season the patty with salt and pepper, remove from the pan and set aside.

Step 4

Add a splash of water (about 2 TB per portion) to the pan to deglaze it and make a sauce. (Optional: Add a teaspoon of butter for a richer sauce.) Let the sauce thicken a bit over low heat.
