Brussels sprouts (fresh)

Step 1

Trim the Brussels sprouts and remove the first layer of leaves if they are damaged.

Cut them into slices, then place them in a colander and rinse until water runs clear.

Hazelnuts

Step 3

Coarsely chop the hazelnuts. (Optional: toast in the oven at 180°C for 5 minutes).

Step 4

Add a drizzle of olive oil to a pan on high heat, add the chili pepper and mix.

Add the Brussels sprouts and cook for 5 minutes, stirring regularly, until lightly browned. Season with salt and pepper.
