Shallot

Step 1

If needed, defrost your beef patties. Finely chop the shallot.

Egg
Bread crumbs (plain)
Parmesan (grated)
Beef (ground-beef patties fresh)

Step 2

In a bowl, add the beef, egg, breadcrumbs, shallots, half the parmesan and season. Mix everything together with your hands.

Step 3

Roll into 4 cm meatballs.

Pasta (spaghetti)

Step 4

Cook the pasta according to pack instructions.

Step 5

Cook the meatballs for 5 minutes in a hot frying pan, with some olive oil.

Tomato sauce (Neapolitan)

Step 6

When they're cooked, pour in the tomato sauce plus 1 tablespoon of water per person. Simmer until the pasta is cooked.

Parmesan (grated)

Step 7

Strain the pasta and mix with the sauce and meatballs. Serve with a bit of parmesan (optional: some fresh basil leaves) on top.
