Make sure you have...
Stovetop, Oven, Colander, Parchment paper, Frying pan
Step 1
If needed, defrost your beef patties. Preheat your oven to 200°C. Chop the sweet potatoes into fries and place them in a bowl of water. Strain them, then put them back in the bowl, and add 1 tablespoon of olive oil per person. Salt and pepper to taste, and mix.
Step 2
Égouttez-les puis replacez-les dans le bol et ajoutez 1 c. à soupe d'huile d'olive par personne. Salez et poivrez selon vos goûts et mélangez.
Step 3
Spread out the sweet potatoes on an oven safe baking tray. If necessary, use several trays to keep them from touching each other (so they bake evenly without sticking together). Bake for 40 minutes at 200°C.
Step 4
Put the ground beef in a bowl and season it, then knead it and shape into burger patties.
Step 5
When the fries have 5 minutes left, cook the burger patties in a hot frying pan.
Step 6
Cook for 2 minutes on one side, turn them over, and add the crumbled cheese on top. Cook over medium heat for 2 minutes each side, or longer if you want.
Step 7
While the burger patty is cooking, toast the burger buns. 15 to 30 seconds should be enough time to make them golden brown.
Step 8
Brush the bottom hamburger bun with mustard.
Step 9
Add the burger patty, onion confit, and lettuce. Close the burger, and serve it with the sweet potato fries on the side. Enjoy!
