Berries (assorted, frozen)

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Defrost the berries in a bowl of room temperature water and drain once defrosted. You can also defrost in the refrigerator the night before.

Shortcrust pastry

Step 2

In the meantime, add the pie crust to a pie dish (we used a 31 cm diameter dish here) & prick a few times using a fork. Cook for 5 minutes at 180°C.

Flour (all-purpose)
Butter (unsalted)
Sugar (granulated)

Step 3

In the meantime, mix the softened butter, flour & sugar with your fingers to obtain a sandy texture.

Berries (assorted, frozen)

Shortcrust pastry

Step 4

Add the drained berries to the bottom of the pie crust, sprinkle lightly with sugar (optional) & cover with the crumble.

Step 5

Bake the tart for 50 minutes at 180°C. Remove the tart from the oven & let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
