Ground beef

Step 1

Heat a frying pan to medium-high heat with a drizzle of oil. Add the ground beef and cook for 2 minutes, while breaking up the meat with a spatula or wooden spoon.

Crushed tomatoes

Step 2

Add the tomato sauce and cook, stirring frequently, for 2 more minutes. Like it spicy? Add some chili powder or hot sauce!

Shredded cheese
Cilantro (fresh)

Step 3

To assemble, add the beef, the sour cream and shredded cheese to one side of a tortilla. Optional: Top with fresh cilantro.

Fold in half.

Cook the quesadilla for 2 minutes on each side until the cheese melts.

Cut into 3 or 4 pieces. Squeeze with lime juice and serve with salsa or sour cream. Enjoy!
