Ingredients for 1 frittata

Oven, Frying pan, Stovetop, Tart pan

White mushrooms (whole)

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 200°C. Wash & slice the mushrooms.

Bacon

Step 2

In a hot pan, add the bacon. Grill for 2 min, over high heat until slightly crispy. Set aside on a paper towel lined plate.

Step 3

In the same pan, add the mushrooms. Cook for 4-5 min, over high heat, until golden brown.

Egg
Cheddar (shredded)

Step 4

Meanwhile, in a mixing bowl, crack the eggs. Season with salt & pepper. Whisk the eggs. Add the grated cheddar & mix to combine.

Step 5

Grease a tin (we used a 23cm diameter dish here). Add a piece of parchment paper inside the dish & grease it.

Step 6

Add the mushrooms & bacon cut into bits. Pour the egg mix on top. Season with freshly grated pepper & bake for 15-20 at 200°C.

Step 7

Remove the frittata from the oven & serve with a side of green salad. Enjoy !
