Butter (unsalted)

Step 1

Take the butter out of the fridge so gets to room temperature. Preheat the oven to 180°C. In a mixing bowl, add: the flour, 3/4 sugar, a pinch of salt and the softened butter. Mix for 10 sec / speed 6, until you have a sandy texture.

Step 2

Dans le bol de mixage ajoutez : la farine, le sucre, une pincée de sel et le beurre mou. Fermez le couvercle avec le bouchon mesureur et programmez : vitesse 6 / 30 secondes.

Step 3

Wash and peel the apples and pears. Chop in quarters, then cubes. Add them to an oven-proof dish, a proportionate size to the quantity of fruit. The ideal amount of fruit in a crumble is a 4-5cm layer.

Step 4

Sprinkle the crumble mixture on top. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes. Remove the crumble when the top is nice and golden.

Step 5

Eat hot or cold, alone or with a scoop of ice cream or a dollop of crème fraîche.
