Crispy chicken like you've never had before!
Step 1
Wash and cut the broccoli into florets. Cut the florets in half, if necessary.
Step 2
Prepare the marinade. In a bowl, mix: paprika, oregano, cumin, garlic, honey and a drizzle of olive oil.
Step 3
Add the chicken drumsticks to a bowl. Coat them with half of the marinade and mix well.
Step 4
Place the marinated drumsticks in the air fryer basket. Cook them in the air fryer for 10 minutes at 200°C (35 to 40 mins in the oven at 200°C).
Step 5
Meanwhile, in the same bowl, add the broccoli*. Brush them with the rest of the marinade and mix well. *See our tips for this step
Step 6
Place the broccoli in the air fryer basket. Cook them in the air fryer for 10 minutes at 200°C (25 to 30 mins in the oven at 200°C), stirring halfway through cooking.
Step 7
Once the chicken and broccoli are golden brown and crispy, remove them from the air fryer.
Step 8
Serve the Tex-Mex chicken on a plate with the roasted broccoli. Re-season to taste, and it's ready!
Pre-steam the broccoli for a few minutes for more tender vegetables.
