Step 1
In a shallow dish, mix the egg. Season with salt, pepper & a pinch of cayenne pepper. Whisk.


Step 2
Add the flour to another shallow dish. Coat the chicken in flour then in the egg.

Step 3
Add the breadcrumbs into a third dish. Dip the chicken in the breadcrumbs & coat on both sides. For a thicker breading, dip the chicken in the egg & in the breadcrumbs a second time.
Step 4
Add the breaded chicken to the air fryer basket with the rack. Add a drizzle of olive oil. Air fry for 15-20 min at 180°C, flipping halfway through.
Step 5
Once golden brown & crispy, take the chicken out of the air fryer. Optionally, cut the chicken into strips.


Step 6
Serve the crispy chicken with a side of salad seasoned to taste. Add a lemon wedge, if you have some. Enjoy!
