Air fryer
Step 1
Using the back of a pan or a rolling pin, pound the chicken to flatten it.
Step 2
Place a slice of ham followed by a slice of Emmental cheese on the chicken breast. Fold it over itself.
Step 3
In a shallow dish, break the eggs. Beat them with a fork.
Step 4
In a second shallow dish, add the flour. Coat the chicken in it on both sides.
Step 5
Then coat the chicken in the beaten eggs.
Step 6
In a third shallow dish, add the breadcrumbs. Coat the chicken in it on both sides.
Step 7
Place the cordon bleus in the air fryer basket with the rack attached. Cook them in the air fryer for 20 minutes at 180°C, turning them over halfway through cooking.
Step 8
Once golden brown and crispy, remove the cordon bleus from the air fryer. Serve them on a plate with a green salad dressed to your liking. Enjoy!
