Vietnamese-style Caramelized Pork

White rice (long grain)
2 tbsp
Soy sauce
1/2 tbsp
Sherry vinegar
1 tsp
Sugar (granulated)
1 cm
Ginger (fresh)

- Step 1
In a pot of salted boiling water, cook the rice according to package instructions. Once cooked through, drain the rice. - Step 2
Meanwhile, slice the pork tenderloin into thick slices, approx. 2 cm. - Step 3
In a pan, melt a dab of butter over high heat. Add the pork & sauté for 5 min, flipping halfway through cooking. - Step 4
Lower the heat to medium. Add the soy sauce, vinegar, sugar & grated ginger. Stir, cover & leave to simmer 6-7 min, over low heat. - Step 5
Serve the caramelized pork on a bed of fluffly rice. Re-season to your taste & enjoy ! *Check out our tips for this step
