recipe

  • Step 1
Peel & chop the potatoes into small cubes.
  • Step 2
Fill the Digicook bowl with water. Place the steamer basket inside the Digicook & add the potatoes. Close the lid with the measuring lid & set the program : 120°C / speed 1 / 20 min.
  • Step 3
    Meanwhile, finely chop the parsley.
  • Step 4
In a wide bowl, mix : the tuna, grated garlic & minced parsley. Season with salt & pepper.
  • Step 5
Once the potatoes are cooked through & tender, discard the water from the Digicook bowl & transfer the potatoes into it. Add the cream & a knob of butter. Close the lid with the measuring lid & set the program : speed 5 / 2 min.
  • Step 6
Add the tuna mix. Season with salt & pepper & mix using spatula.
  • Step 7
Preheat the oven to 200°C. In an oven-proof dish (we used a 20 x 20 cm dish here), spread the potato mash in an even layer. Top with the breadcrumbs & a couple small knobs of butter, if you wish. Bake for 20 min at 200°C.
  • Step 8
Once golden & crisp on top, remove the dish from the oven. Serve the warm tuna bake with a side of green salad. Enjoy !

😋 Gourmet tip

For a truly flavoursome dish, we suggest adding some herbes de Provence & grated parmesan to your homemade potato mash.
