- Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Peel & chop the potatoes into small cubes. - Step 2
In a pot of boiling water, add the potatoes & cook for 15 mins, until tender. - Step 3
Meanwhile, finely chop the parsley. - Step 4
In a wide bowl, mix : the tuna, grated garlic & minced parsley. Season with salt & pepper. - Step 5
Once the potatoes are cooked through & tender, drain them. Transfer to a wide bowl with the cream & a knob of butter. Using a fork or potato-masher, mash the potatoes until they reach a purée consistency. - Step 6
Add the tuna/ garlic/ parsley mixture into the bowl & stir to combine. Season with salt & pepper to taste. - Step 7
Add the mashed potatoes to an oven-proof dish & spread out evenly. Cover with the breadcrumbs & a couple small knobs of butter, if you wish. Bake for 20 minutes at 200°C. - Step 8
Once golden & crisp on the top, remove the dish from the oven & serve warm with a side of green salad. Enjoy !
