  • Step 1
    Melt 1 tsp of butter per portion in a pot over medium heat and add the onions and minced or grated garlic.
  • Step 2
    Sauté for 2 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Meanwhile, dissolve the bouillon cube in 200 ml of boiling water/portion.
  • Step 4
    Add the tomatoes and broth to the pot.
  • Step 5
    Season with salt and pepper, add the basil, stir and simmer, covered, for 10 minutes.
  • Step 6
    Add the crème fraîche and puree the soup with an immersion blender.
  • Step 7
    Pour into bowls and add a bit more crème fraîche on top—it's ready!
