Stir-fried Noodles with Beef & Mushroom

Stir fry noodles (egg)

Flank steak
80 g
Carrots (fresh)
70 g
White mushrooms (whole)
2 tbsp
Sweet soy sauce
1/2 clove
Garlic

1/2 tsp
Ginger (ground)

Stovetop, Pot (small), Colander, Frying pan

- Step 1
In a pot of boiling water, cook the noodles according to package directions. Drain them at the end of cooking. - Step 2
Meanwhile, wash & cut the mushrooms into thin slices. - Step 3
Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the mushrooms. Season with salt & pepper, then brown them for 4-5 minutes. - Step 4
Grate half the garlic into the pan & add the ground ginger (optional). Mix. - Step 5
Wash & slice the carrots into thin strips, using a peeler. Add them directly into the pan & stir. - Step 6
Cut the beef into strips. - Step 7
Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a second pan, over high heat. Add the beef. Season with salt & pepper & sauté for 1 min. - Step 8
Reduce to medium heat & add the remaining grated garlic. Deglaze with a little water. - Step 9
Check the vegetables for doneness, then add the beef & soy sauce to the pan. Mix. - Step 10
Add the noodles & mix again. Let everything cook for an additional 1-2 min - Step 11
Serve the fried noodles in a deep plate or bowl. Drizzle over with extra soy sauce & top with sesame seeds, if you have some. Enjoy !
