Split peas
1 slice
Ham (deli slices)
1/4
Yellow onion
1/4 clove
Garlic

Peel & finely dice the onions. - Step 2
Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a saucepan, over medium heat. Add the onions & grated garlic. Sauté for 1-2 min. - Step 3
Add 200ml of water per serving & les split peas. Bring to a boil, cover & leave to simmer for 40-45 min, over low heat. - Step 4
Once cooked through, blend the split peas, until smooth. If needed, add some extra water & blend again. Add a dab a butter & stir to combine. - Step 5
Serve the split pea mash with the cured ham. Re-season to taste & enjoy !
