Speedy Chicken Stew with Rice

Peel & slice the carrots into thin rounds. - Step 2
Slice the ends of the leeks.* Slice them into thin rounds & place them in a colander. Rinse thoroughly, to remove all impurities. *Check out our tips for this step - Step 3
Clean & thinly slice the mushrooms. - Step 4
Cut the chicken into cubes. - Step 5
In the Digicook bowl, add : the leeks, carrots, diced chicken & a drizzle of olive oil. Close the lid without the measuring lid & set the reverse program : 100°C / speed 1 / 3 min. - Step 6
Add the cream, between 80-100ml of water per serving, the veal stock & mushrooms. Season with salt & pepper & stir to combine. Close the lid without the measuring lid & set the reverse program : 100°C / speed 1 / 20 min. - Step 7
Meanwhile, in a pot of salted boiling water, cook the rice according to package instructions. Once cooked through, drain the rice. - Step 8
Once the chicken stew is ready, serve it on a bed of fluffy rice. Re-season to taste & enjoy !
