Chickpeas (canned)
1
Bell pepper (red)
1/5 bunch
Parsley (fresh)
1/4 tsp
Allspice (ground)

- Step 1
Wash the peppers, cut off the top & bottom and remove the seeds. - Step 2
Cut them into thin strips (Don't forget to use the tops and bottoms too) - Step 3
In a pan on high heat, add a drizzle of olive oil and the sliced peppers. - Step 4
Cook on high for 5 minutes, stirring frequently. - Step 5
Add water (1/4 cup per person), cover and cook for 5 more minutes on low heat. - Step 6
Drain the chickpeas and add them to the pan. - Step 7
Season with salt & pepper, add the allspice and stir. - Step 8
Cook covered for an additional 5-7 minutes. - Step 9
