recipe
- Step 1
If needed, defrost the beef patties. Peel & finely mince the shallots. - Step 2
Prepare the meatballs. In a mixing bowl, combine: the minced beef, shallots, the breadcrumbs, half of the parmesan & eggs. Season to taste & mix it all together with your hands. - Step 3
Form the meatballs by rolling them between the palm of your hands. Set aside on a plat dusted in corn starch. - Step 4
In a pot of salted boiling water, cook the pasta according to package instructions. Once cooked through, drain the pasta & keep warm. - Step 5
Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a pan, over high heat. Add the meatballs & sauté for 5 min, stirring, until golden brown. - Step 6
Check the meatballs, then add the tomato sauce, 1 tablespoon of water per serving & the drained pasta. Leave to simmer 3-4 min, over very low heat, stirring. - Step 7
Serve the spaghetti alla bolognese in a plate, topped with the remaining grated parmesan & some fresh basil (optional). Enjoy !
