- Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C. In a hot frying pan, fry the bacon until it's lightly browned. - Step 2
Meanwhile, in the mixing bowl, add: the eggs and 1 small pot of yoghurt (keep the pot, it will be your measuring tool for later). Season with salt, pepper, then mix 10 sec / speed 3. - Step 3
Add 1/2 pot of olive oil (or sunflower). Mix again 15 sec / speed 3. - Step 4
Next add 3 pots of flour, the baking powder and mix 20 sec / speed 3. - Step 5
Mix add the onion confit, grated cheese and bacon together with a spatula. Place the batter in a cake tin and bake for 40 minutes. - Step 6
Insert a knife into the cake towards the end of cooking time to make sure the cake is cooked through: it should come out "clean". It's ready! Serve as an aperitif or as a dinner with a small side salad.
