Sautéed gnocchi with brussels sprouts

Gnocchi (skillet)
120 g
Brussels sprouts (fresh)
15 g
Parmesan
10 g
Butter (unsalted)

- Step 1
Cut the base of the brussels sprouts and cut them in half. Place them in a colander and rinse well. - Step 2
Add the brussels sprouts to a pot of boiling water, cover and cook for 8 minutes. If using frozen brussels sprouts, cook for 6 minutes. - Step 3
After 8 minutes, insert a knife into the brussels sprouts to test if done. The knife should go in easily! Drain and set aside. - Step 4
In a pan on medium-high heat, add the butter, brussels sprouts and gnocchi. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently, until lightly browned. Season with salt & pepper. - Step 5
Add two tablespoons of water (per person) to the pan, cover and cook for 2 minutes on medium heat. - Step 6
Once the water has evaporated, remove from heat. - Step 7
Serve with grated parmesan cheese and enjoy!
