  • Step 1
    Peel then finely chop the shallot.
  • Step 2
    Wash then cut the broccoli into florets*. Very finely chop the florets. *Check out our tips for this step
  • Step 3
    Remove the casing from the sausages. Cut them lengthwise, then peel off the skin.
  • Step 4
    Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a pan. Add the sausages and brown them for 4 to 5 minutes, stirring to break them into pieces.
  • Step 5
    At the same time, in a pot of boiling salted water, cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Reserve a small ladle of cooking water, then drain the pasta at the end of cooking.

    Add the broccoli and shallot to the pan. Season with salt & pepper. Mix & continue cooking for 8 to 10 minutes over medium heat.

    Then add the pasta to the pan with the reserved cooking water. Optional: add a a tablespoon of crème fraîche and a little lemon zest and juice, if you have any. Mix well and cook for an additional 1 to 2 minutes.
  • Step 8
    Serve the pasta on a plate and sprinkle generously with grated parmesan. Re-season to taste & enjoy !
