  • Step 1
    If using frozen salmon, defrost it first by placing it in a zippered plastic bag and letting it sit in cool water.
  • Step 2
    Wash & cut the broccoli into florets. Slice the larger florets in half & the stem into small cubes. Add 500ml to the bowl alongside the brocoli. Cook in steam mode for 10 min.
  • Step 3
    In the meantime, melt the butter in a pan (about 1 tsp per person).
  • Step 4
    Add the salmon to the pan (skin side down) and cook on high for 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Step 5
    Grate a clove of garlic directly in to the pan. Flip the salmon, lower the heat and cook for an additional 5 minutes. Remove from heat and cover to keep warm.
  • Step 6
    Drain the broccoli and put it in a bol. Add the rest of the butter and season with salt & pepper. Mash until desired consistency.

    Serve the broccoli with the salmon and enjoy!
