Préchauffez le four à 200°C. Faites fondre le beurre 15 secondes au micro-ondes. - Step 2
Preheat the oven to 200°C. In a salad bowl, add: the flour, sugar, pinch of salt, and slightly melted butter (15 seconds in the microwave), mix until you get a smooth batter. - Step 3
Lavez puis épluchez les pommes, coupez-les en fines lamelles en retirant le trognon. - Step 4
Fashion the pastry in to a ball and place on some baking paper. Roll out a circle, around 5cm in thickness. - Step 5
Place the apple slices on the dough, spreading them out 3 cm from the edge. Carefully fold in the edges and press down lightly so it sticks. - Step 6
Optional: add on a bit of sugar and chunks of butter, for a caramelized topping. Bake for 30 minutes. - Step 7
Serve as is or with a scoop of ice cream, or dollop of crème fraîche!!
