- Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Crush the garlic using the side of a large knife and set aside. - Step 2
Add a drizzle of olive oil to the bottom of your baking dish. Wash the potatoes (no need to peel them!). Place the chicken, potatoes and garlic in the dish. - Step 3
Add a few dabs of butter on the chicken and a drizzle of olive oil. Optional: Add fresh thyme or rosemary. - Step 4
Generously season with salt & pepper. Bake for 15 minutes at 200°C. - Step 5
Optionnel : Faites chauffer 25cl d'eau pour un poulet entier et ajoutez un cube de bouillon. Réservez. - Step 6
After 15 minutes, remove the dish from the oven and add 1 cup of water or chicken stock. Lower the temperature to 180°C and cook for an additional 1 hour and 15 minutes (count approx half an hour per 500g of chicken). - Step 7
From time to time, pour the pan juices over the chicken using a spoon and stir the potatoes. - Step 8
Remove the chicken from the oven and cut into pieces. Serve with the potatoes and enjoy!
