- Step 1
 Take the butter out of the fridge so gets to room temperature. Preheat the oven to 180°C. In a mixing bowl, add: the flour, 3/4 sugar, a pinch of salt and the softened butter*. Mix for 15 sec / speed 4. *Check out our tips for this step
- Step 2
 Mix the fruits with the rest of the sugar.
- Step 3
 Add them to an oven-proof dish, a proportionate size to the quantity of fruit. The ideal amount of fruit in a crumble is about 4-5cm thick.
- Step 4
 Sprinkle the crumble mixture on top. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes. Remove the crumble when the top is nice and golden.
- Step 5
 Eat hot or cold, alone or with a scoop of ice cream or a dollop of crème fraîche.
Recipe tip
If you wish to reduce sugar quantities, you can remove up to ⅓ of the sugar in this recipe without altering flavor.
