  • Step 1
    Peel and chop the garlic.
  • Step 2
    Dice the onions.
  • Step 3
    Add a drizzle of olive oil to a pot on medium-high heat. Add the onion, garlic and cumin and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Step 4
    Add the red beans, with 1/2 cup of water per person. Cover and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Step 5
    Add the cream and lemon zest (optional: add some cilantro). Season with salt & pepper, serve and enjoy!
