  • Step 1
    Take the butter out of the fridge so gets to room temperature. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Step 2
    In a mixing bowl, add: the flour, the sugar, a pinch of salt and the butter. Rub everything together using your fingers until you have a sandy texture.
  • Step 3
    Wash and peel the pears. Chop them into quarters and then cubes. Break up the chocolate.
  • Step 4
    Concassez grossièrement le chocolat.
  • Step 5
    Add the fruits to an oven-proof dish, a proportionate size to the quantity of fruit. The ideal amount of fruit should be a 4-5cm layer. Add the chocolate.
  • Step 6
    Sprinkle the crumble mixture on top. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes
  • Step 7
    Remove the crumble when the top is nice and golden. Eat hot or cold, alone or with a scoop of ice cream or a dollop of crème fraîche.
