  • Step 1
    Preheat the oven to 240°C. Mix together the crème fraîche, parmesan, half the grated cheese, salt and pepper.
  • Step 2
    Butter the bread slices on one side.
  • Step 3
    Grease an oven-proof dish with butter.
  • Step 4
    Lay on half the bread slices, butter side facing up.
  • Step 5
    Add a slice of ham per bread slice, the rest of the grated cheese.
  • Step 6
    Close with the second slice of bread, butter side facing the ham. Cover the sandwhiches with the cream-cheese mixture. Bake for 10 minutes.
  • Step 7
    Bake for 10 minutes.
  • Step 8
    Serve with a dressed green salad.
