Chicken breast

Crushed tomatoes

1 tbsp
Peanut butter

Yellow onion

White rice (long grain)

Vegetable bouillon (cube)

- Step 1
 In a pot of boiling salted water, cook the rice according to package instructions. Once cooked through, drain the rice & keep warm.
- Step 2
 Meanwhile, peel & finely dice the onions.
- Step 3
 Cut the chicken into bite-size pieces & set aside.
- Step 4
 Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a pot, over medium heat. Add the onions* & sauté for 3 min. *Check out our tips for this step
- Step 5
 Add the tomatoes into the pot. Stir & simmer for 5 min.
- Step 6
 Add 60ml of water per person, the cubed broth & peanut butter. Stir to combine.
- Step 7
 Add the chicken into the pot. Stir & leave to cook for 8-10 min, until cooked through.
- Step 8
 Serve the mafé with the rice, adjusting seasoning to taste. Enjoy !
