recipe
- Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Cut the ends off the leeks* and then chop them into rings. Rinse them in running water to remove any dirt. *Check out our tips for this step - Step 2
In a hot pan, add a pat of butter and the leeks. Cook for 2 minutes on high heat, then cover and cook for 5 minutes on medium heat. - Step 3
While the leeks are cooking, make the crumble. Put the flour, butter and parmesan in a food processor, mix it with a hand mixer, or even mix it together with your hands until it’s a sandy mixture. Put it in a bowl and set it aside. - Step 4
Next, add the crème fraîche to the pan with the leeks and season with salt and pepper. Mix well, cover, and cook for 5 minutes over low heat. - Step 5
Line the baking dish with the slices of smoked salmon. Spread the leeks over the salmon and finish by sprinkling the crumble mixture on top. - Step 6
Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 30 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
♻️ Zero waste tip
For a zero-waste dish, use the discarded leek stalks to make soup ! Rinse well & remove all damaged, dry & yellow parts before adding to your pot with the ingredients of your choosing.
