recipe

  • Step 1
In a large mixing bowl, combine : the yeast, sugar, 80 ml of lukewarm water & 50g of flour (quantity for 1 pizza dough). Set aside for 15 min.
  • Step 2
In a second large mixing bowl, combine : the remaining water (50 ml for 1 pizza dough) & 1 teaspoon of salt. Pour in the oil & mix again.
  • Step 3
Pour in the yeast mixture into the second bowl. Mix using your hands - the texture will be quite liquid.
  • Step 4
Add in the remaining flour little by little, mixing in between each add-in, until a dough forms.
  • Step 5
Knead the dough for about 15 min, until smooth & supple. Form a dough ball.
  • Step 6
Place the dough ball in a clean mixing bowl. Cover with a clean & damp cloth & leave to rise in a dry warm space for at least 1h. The dough should double or triple in size.
  • Step 7
Once the dough has risen, degas it. On a clean surface, remove the air bubbles by gently kneading it fo 1-2 min.
  • Step 8
Preheat the oven to 240°C. Lightly dust your countertop & add the pizza dough. Shape it.
  • Step 9
Place the pizza dough onto a baking tray & garnish the pizza with the toppings of your choice.
  • Step 10
Bake in the oven for 10 mins at 240°C. Once golden & crispy, remove the pizza from the oven & enjoy !
