Turmeric (ground)

Heat the vegetable milk and coconut milk over a low heat in a saucepan until it simmers. - Step 2
Add the cinnamon, turmeric, grated or powdered ginger, a bit of ground pepper (yes, pepper!) and whisk together. - Step 3
Optional: add a pinch of cardamom if you have some at home. - Step 4
Sweeten according to your taste: sugar, agave syrup, honey, (if you are non-vegan) or maple syrup then serve it hot!
