recipe
- Step 1
In a pan of boiling salted water, cook the rice according to the packet instructions. When cooked, drain and keep warm. - Step 2
Meanwhile, prepare the meatballs. In a bowl, mix: ground beef, half of the grated garlic and ginger. Add salt and pepper and mix well. - Step 3
Oil your hands, then form the beef balls. - Step 4
Prepare the honey/soy sauce. In a bowl, mix: soy sauce, honey, and the rest of the grated garlic and ginger. Add a little lime juice and mix again. - Step 5
Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a frying pan over high heat. Add the meatballs and brown for 4 to 5 minutes, turning regularly. - Step 6
Once golden brown, add the honey/soy sauce. Continue cooking for 3 to 4 minutes, over medium heat, turning regularly. - Step 7
Serve the beef balls on a plate with the rice and cover them with the sauce. Add a few coriander leaves, if you have some, and a lime wedge. Re-season to taste, and it's ready!
