Honey
20 g
Sugar (granulated)
30 g
Flour (all-purpose)

Baking soda

- Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Heat the milk in a saucepan or in the microwave for 2 mins. Once it is warm, add the honey & stir until it has dissolved. - Step 2
In a large bowl, whisk : the flour, sugar, baking soda, all-spice, a pinch of salt & half a teaspoon of powdered ginger and ground cinnamon, if you have some. - Step 3
Gradually stir in the milk with a whisk, until you have a smooth texture. - Step 4
Pour the batter into a cake tin (preferably) and bake for 40 minutes at 180°C. - Step 5
Once baked & golden on top, remove the gingerbread from the oven & leave to cool before slicing. Serve it with melted dark chocolate on top - mmmmm ! Enjoy !
