Red lentils (dry)
70 ml
Coconut milk
1/4 clove
Garlic
1 cm
Ginger (fresh)
1 tsp
Curry powder

- Step 1
Peel & mince the onions. - Step 2
In a hot pot, heat a drizzle of olive oil. Add the onions & curry powder. Sauté for 2-3 min, over medium heat, while stirring. Season with salt & pepper. - Step 3
Add the grated garlic, stir & sauté for another minute. - Step 4
Add the lentils, grated ginger, coconut milk & 150ml of water per person. Cover & leave to simmer, over low heat, for 15 min, stirring occasionally. - Step 5
Serve the dahl with a drizzle of coconut milk & freshly grated pepper. Top with fresh coriander & coconut flakes, if you have some. Enjoy !
