  • Step 1
    Mince the garlic.
  • Step 2
    Add it to a frying pan with a drizzle of olive oil and the bacon. Fry for 2 minutes.

    Peel the potatoes.
  • Step 4
    Peel the carrots and slice them into sticks.
  • Step 5
    Add them to the pan and add enough water to cover the vegetables. Add the stock cube, cover and cook for 20 minutes.

    After 10 minutes of cooking time, add in the onions, beans and peas and cook for another 10 minutes.
