Preheat the oven to 190°C. Cut the prunes in half and discard the pits. - Step 2
In a bowl, mix together the eggs and sugar*. *Check out our tips for this step - Step 3
Little by little, add the flour and stir. - Step 4
Little by little, add the milk and stir. - Step 5
Optional: add a teaspoon of vanilla extract. - Step 6
Butter a pie dish or cake pan. - Step 7
Pour the batter into the buttered pan. - Step 8
Arrange the prunes, cut side up, in the batter and bake for 45 minutes at 190°C. - Step 9
Remove the plan from the oven and let cool. Cut into slices and it's time for dessert!
Recipe tip
If you wish to reduce sugar quantities, you can remove up to ⅓ of the sugar in this recipe without altering flavor.
