- Step 1
Preheat the oven to 240°C. In a hot frying pan, add the onions and lardons or pancetta and sauté for 2 minutes. - Step 2
Peel the onion; cut it in half and then into very thin slices. - Step 3
In a bowl, mix together equal quantities of crème fraîche and fromage blanc, plus salt and pepper to taste. - Step 4
Spread the dough on a baking sheet. Optional: Crimp the edges of the dough for a pretty tart. - Step 5
Spread the mixture on the dough, leaving a 1–2 cm border around the edge. - Step 6
Evenly distribute the onions and lardons or pancetta on top and bake for 10 minutes. - Step 7
Remove from the oven and serve immediately. Optional: Sprinkle with finely chopped fresh herbs.
