Creamy Chicken with Mashed Potatoes

Peel and dice the potatoes. - Step 2
Boil a pot of hot water, add in the potatoes and cook for 15 minutes. - Step 3
Meanwhile, in a hot frying pan add a bit of butter and the chicken. Cook on a medium heat for 4 minutes on each side. - Step 4
Stop cooking the potatoes: they should be tender. (Cook for an additional 2 minutes if this is not the case). Crush the potatoes with a fork, adding the milk, butter, salt and pepper. - Step 5
When the chicken is cooked, add the crème fraîche and 2 tablespoons of water per portion (optional: add a little mustard or a pinch of allspice to taste), salt, pepper, mix and then cover and simmer for 2 minutes more. - Step 6
Serve the mashed potatoes with the chicken and cream on top.
