Cream of Bean & Haddock Soup

Cannellini beans (cooked)
50 g
Haddock (smoked)
30 ml
Heavy cream
1/4 tsp
Turmeric (ground)

- Step 1
Peel the onion, cut it in 2 and place it in the Thermomix. Blend for 5 sec / speed 5. Scrape down the sides of the bowl. - Step 2
In the bowl, add a drizzle of olive oil (or a knob of butter), the turmeric and sauté for 2 min / 120°C / speed 1. - Step 3
Meanwhile, drain and rinse the white beans. - Step 4
Add the beans to the bowl, then cover to the top with water (about 2/3 cups per person). - Step 5
Cook for 10 min / at 100°C / speed 1. - Step 6
Once cooked, add the cream and mix for 30 sec/speed 10 (with the cup on the lid). - Step 7
Optional: Add a little water if the texture is too thick. - Step 8
Serve the soup with the haddock cut into strips (remove the skin first), and it's ready! - Step 9
Optional: serve with some fresh herbs if you have some at home, tarragon, parsley, coriander, according to your taste!
