- Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C. In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, powdered almonds, yeast (or bicarbonate) & a pinch of salt. - Step 2
In another bowl, mash the bananas (the riper they are, the better so don't be afraid to use black bananas!). - Step 3
Add the eggs and melted butter, mix and add it little by little to the first mixture. - Step 4
Add the chocolat chopped into dices, mix. - Step 5
Grease your loaf tin (we used a 29 x 10 cm dish here) & pour in the batter. Bake for 50 min at 180°C. - Step 6
Once the loaf is golden, plant the tip of a knife into the center of the loaf. If it comes out clean, the loaf is ready, otherwise, bake it for another 2-3 min. Leave to cool before serving. Enjoy !
Recipe tip
You can personalize your Banana Bread by adding chopped almonds/hazelnuts in the mixture.
