White bread (sliced)

120 g
Chickpeas (canned)

1 tbsp
Mayonnaise

1 tsp
Whole milk yogurt (plain)

1/4
Lemon

1/8
Red onion

If desired, toast the slices of bread in a toaster or in the oven. - Step 2
Peel then finely chop the red onion. - Step 3
In a deep plate or bowl, pour the previously drained chickpeas. Coarsely mash them with a fork. - Step 4
Then add the mayonnaise, yogurt, lemon juice and zest and the chopped onion. Season with salt & pepper and mix. - Step 5
Spread the chickpea mixture on one of the two slices of bread. Add the lettuce and a drizzle of olive oil. - Step 6
Close the sandwich and cut it in half if you wish. It's ready!
