Cook the wheat in a pan of salted water for 10 minutes. Strain once cooked. - Step 2
Cut the pepper into cubes. - Step 3
Cut the chicken into cubes. - Step 4
Quarter the onions and cut them into small pieces. - Step 5
Alternately slide the chicken pieces, onions and peppers onto the skewers.* *Check out our tips for this step - Step 6
Add a drizzle of olive oil to a frying pan and sauté the skewers for 2 minutes on all 4 sides on a medium heat. - Step 7
Then lower the heat, cover and cook for another 5 minutes. - Step 8
Serve the wheat with the skewers, season, add a dash of olive oil (optional: add some herbs).
Recipe tip
If you're using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 min before grilling to prevent burning.
